Phillip Island
There's a lot more to Phillip Island than just the Little Penguins! Today we depart our club bright and early as we head off to explore some of 'The Island's' other features. You have 2 choices for the morning and lunch, before visiting the National Vietnam Veterans Museum in the afternoon. Let us know which option you prefer when you book (choices apply to whole group).
OPTION 1 - Churchill Island
Heading down the Bass Highway, we arrive at Phillip Island late morning, with a morning tea stop along the way. After crossing the bridge from San Remo, we make our way to Churchill Island; this magical island is steeped in history. Deliciously fragrant gardens surrounds the historical homestead, whilst an array of bird life forage the island's shores. The island is a working farm with Highland cattle, sheep, ducks, chickens and Clydesdale horses. Our ranger talk will be a highlight of our time on the island. We'll enjoy a light lunch on Churchill Island. The afternoon takes us to the National Vietnam Veterans Museum, an award winning museum that tells the story of all Vietnam Veterans who fought in Australia's longest running war. See how they lived, how they fought and the equipment that they used. With so much incredible memorabilia to see, we may have to plan another visit! After a lovely day on the island, we sit back and relax as we travel home.

OPTION 2 - Scenic Lunch Cruise
Heading down the Bass Highway, we arrive at Phillip Island in time for our cruise departure. As we enjoy morning tea on-board, we will cruise the islands of Westernport Bay and listen to local commentary and stories. We'll catch the pelican feeding at San Remo and enjoy a delicious lunch of fish & chips. We then cruise back to Rhyll.
